Where to find Dungarees?

We're all loving dungarees right? But where are the best places to get them from? All the dungarees included in this post are just the bog standard mid-light denim wash ones, but if you like I'll do another post on some more whacky ones!

Classic Topshop. I have a pair from here as you probably know and I can't wait to wear them in the summer but I do find the proportions on them quite odd, does anyone else think this? I reckon there are definitely some cheaper alternatives.

I love the denim used and they look like they should fit really well!

These look more of a tighter fit than the Topshop ones but for over £10 less I think they're still worth it.

4. eBay
I'm not suggesting you buy this exact pair but you can get such good deals on eBay if you just stay patient!

The best dungarees you're ever gonna find will be the old ones, don't forget to check out charity/thrift shops, carboot sales and vintage shops like Rokit!

6. Boohoo
I really like these dungarees, especially the leather panel across the front and they're a fraction of the price of the Topshop ones!

So there you go, a few places to get some cheaper dungarees! Hope you found this helpful!

What's in my Makeup Bag?

Sorry I haven't posted properly in a while, it's the same old excuse - too much work! But I'm back today with the classic beauty post - what's in my makeup bag? So without too much rambling, I'll kick things off!

Okay, so here you can see my makeup bag and I love it.. I've been on the hunt for a new makeup bag for ages and you may remember seeing this in my Birthday Wishlist? Well, I couldn't wait for it so I decided to buy it myself and I love it, I hope I never accidentally spill any foundation in it like I normally do! (Comment below if you do that as well!)

So these 3 products are like my 'face base products as I like to call them, tinted moisturizer, concealer and powder.

Aveda Mineral Tinted Moisturizer in Beechwood
I've used this for ageeees, I really like it because it's so light and doesn't give much coverage which is what I tend to go for.. However it's £24 which can get quite expensive when you use it for such a long time so feel free to leave recommendations for other tinted moisturizers or light foundations below!

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in Light 2
Should I even bother telling you why this is in my makeup bag?

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Sandstorm
I've been watching a lot of Tanya Burr recently and she highly recommends this powder and uses it in almost every makeup tutorial so I had to get it and I must admit, I agree with everything she says. It's so cheap but it lasts forever and gives such a nice finish to the skin.

I have a lot, and when I say a lot, I mean A LOT of makeup brushes so I normally switch the ones I carry in my makeup bag around but these are the most used ones I think. As you can tell they're all by Real Techniques which are 100% my favourite brand for brushes!

This was my first Real Techniques brush and it's amazing for putting any type of powder on really.

Since I only use a light tinted moisturizer for my skin, a buffing brush or stippling brush work better with it I find as they're designed for a lighter coverage.

No, this is not for eyeliner but concealer! It fits really well under my eyes and I find it so much easier to use than the pointed foundation brush.

I never really used to be that into bronzer and blush but I've taken the plunge recently and invested in another blush!

I've had this for ages and always used it, it's more of a double up bronzer/blush I find as it's quite pinky.

This is my more recent blush and I wear it everyday without fail, it's so pretty and I'm pretty sure it's under £2?

Everyday I go for the classic winged liner, black pencil and loads of mascara so I never really venture outside these products very much, I'd recommend them all so much though!

I'm sure you've heard me rave about this before, I'm a big fan. It's so cheap but lasts forever and is a really deep and pigmented black.

Now I know I wasn't really a big fan when I reviewed this but in all honesty, I'm trying to use it up so I can buy another mascara!

What an original name eh? But yes, another Collection 2000 product and although this smudges throughout the day, I just haven't got round to testing out another one yet but for a budget eyeliner this isn't bad.

I find that this is the perfect brow pencil for me, it may be on the pricier side of life but if it works it works!

Brow Gel
I always have to set my brows with this, it's a bit crappy but it'll do and I'm pretty sure it came with a set of mascaras ages ago.

I don't know whether you've noticed or not but I'm obsessed with Models Own at the moment, I'm always cluttering instagram with my new polishes or whatever. So I got this from ASOS few days ago and it's been in my makeup bag ever since, it's the one I'm wearing in the photo as well to give you an idea of what it looks like.

Nail File from Primark
In Primark you can get like 4 nail files for £1 so that's my main source of nail files and I always carry one around just to whack out when I feel the need!

These are the random bits and bobs which I just throw in my makeup bag before I go out..

Pencil Sharpener
I have no idea where this is from but since I've got an eye pencil it's probably common sense (not that I have any) to have a sharpener as well!

These are from a random shop called Tiger and were around £1.50 I think but they're the best tweezers I've used and they're really sharp and ooh they're good!

I'm not gonna lie, I don't really know if this works or not, I can never tell! But I just carry it around with me anyway just in case!

The other week I had a bit of an encounter at a party with a beam which snapped on me so I've been taking these around with me just to clean the cuts out so they don't get all gammy and infected so there's no real beauty purpose for these sorry!

So there's everything in my makeup bag! Congrats if you got to the end of this post! What are your makeup essentials?

Best of eBay #4

I got these in orange the other day and they're brill, work perfectly and look cool!

I bought this skirt ageeeees ago and I've only worn it a couple of times but it's thin material so would be great for summer.

I'm not sure what the quality would be like with these but they're really simple which is why I like 'em!

This is such a great top to wear with anything and there's a massive range of colours!

Birthday Wishlist

I'm very happy right now. I'm sat in a sunny room in my dungarees, new tee and a beanie (of course) with a glass of lemonade, loving life. For the first time in ageeeeeeees, it's been blue skies and sun in Kent and it's a shock. I almost forgot what the sun looked like until now. Today I bring you my birthday wishlist, just a few bits and bobs which I'm hoping to receive! My birthday is the 3rd May, so it's not long now and hopefully the sun will decide to say hello for me.

I've been after some riding pants for ages and I definitely prefer them to disco pants so when I saw these they went straight on my wishlist!

I love wearing blue polish and this is such a nice summery shade, I just can't resist!

My current make up bag is a bit grotty and old now and it's time for a new one!

I'm not really a big fragrance kinda person but when I popped into Superdry the other day, this caught my attention.. I can't remember which colour was my favourite, I think it was the blue one?

This is probably one of the most raved about colours in the blogosphere and yes, I'm jumping on the bandwagon.

I'm so obsessed with Real Techniques at the moment and I just can't get enough of their brushes.

I just love these.

At the moment I'm using my big powder brush to do my blusher and so it'll be nice to have a different brush!

Best of eBay #3

My last eBay bargains post proved quite popular so I thought I'd do another one for you guys!

These are so cheap and perfect to wear with a really simple outfit.

I think these would be great for summer with a plain tee or just to wear on the beach, I can imagine them being quite thin!

Love the range of colours which you can buy this bikini in and even though it's probably not the best quality, it's a good tanning bikini for lounging around the pool!

This is my current phone case and although it is a tad too bulky, I love it. The cutest thing in the world and when the ears pop out.. Well it's just amazing.

Bits I Bought: March

We haven't had a chatty post in a while have we? How is everyone? I can honestly say the weather has completely downed my mood! Normally this is a good time of the year, leading up to my birthday (3rd may) and the weather is always buff but 2013 has to be awkward doesn't it? I've been doing a lot of work recently towards blogging, dancing and my school work as I have exams coming up and have to choreograph dances for the dance clubs I run! I've also been trying to cut back on the spending this month as I've gotta start saving for all the stuff I wanna do this summer. I did manage to buy a few things though which I'm happy with and I know everything I've bought this month I will wear to death!

So these are all the beauty bits which I've bought and I've already used them so much. The nail varnish (Models Own - Toxic Apple) was a bit of an impulse purchase as I had to quickly find a third and final product for the 3 for 2 deal at Boots before it shut but I think it'll look brill in the summer with a tan and a clashing neon bikini! Not that I really tan though. I also bought my go-to eyeliner by Collection which I swear by and it's only a couple of quid. I've been watching a lot of Tanya Burr recently and she always says how much she loves the Rimmel Stay Matte powder so I thought it was time that I'd get some and I love it! I also bought the Natural Collection blush in 'Peach Melba' which has been recommended by so many people and I've joined them, I too recommend the Natural Collection blushes!

It's really annoying that you can't see the proper colour of this purse but it's bright bubblegum pink, not the pale chalky colour which it looks like in the picture. I got a lime green Ted Baker purse for my birthday last year which I loved but sadly it broke and so off me and mum went yesterday to get a new one and this was the only one they had left which was disappointing as obviously my beloved green one had gone out with the old stock. I love the colour of this one but the clasp is rectangular and really annoying which bugs me as the purse is so expensive but oh well!

I'm always running out of tops to wear at school with my suit but I saw this in the River Island sale and it looked good quality, bright for spring and was only like £5-7 or something so I had to pick it up! I'd definitely recommend checking out their sale because despite the tacky stuff they fling on the sale rack, they actually do have some pretty nice stuff there as well!

These dungarees will probably be my most worn item of clothing throughout spring and summer (hopefully if the weather gets better). They're so versatile as you can tell from my 'how to style' post on them, I'll definitely get £38's worth of wear out of them. They fit really nicely as well, despite the top/flappy bit looking slightly out of proportion with the baggy bottoms, and if you're planning on getting these I'd definitely recommend trying them on or buying a size bigger.

I LOVE my phone case and that is all I have to say. I bought this ageeeeees ago but my friend snapped the ears off which was really sad, I think he was just jealous. Okay so this isn't the most convenient case ever and it doesn't exactly fit in my pocket but it's a good 'showy-off' case isn't it? There's also a female one which is pink and has eyelashes but I thought I'd stick to the original Stitch!

So there's all my purchases for this month, there's not much but I know I'm gonna use everything to death!

What are you loving this month? And how are you finding the weather?!

How to Style: Dungarees

This will be my first 'how I style' post today and since we're all loving dungarees at the moment, I thought I'd give it a go at styling them! Bowler Hat £6.80
I know summer is soon on its way but in England we still manage to have ridiculously cold and rubbish weather so this would still work!

I've been after some leather paneled leggings for ages and these are exactly what I want!

I love these glasses and the tortoise shell pattern and for £9 I like them even more!
