Becoming a student means a restricted budget, and unfortunately that means no more high end makeup for the time being. However I am now able to explore the high street brands a bit more.
L'Oreal True Match Foundation
I've been using this foundation since March and I can't recommend it enough if you're after a new one. It provides a medium coverage which looks flawless and blends so beautiful into the skin, and the range of shades is very impressive for a drugstore foundation.
Maybelline Master Sculpt Contouring Palettte
Now this is a recent purchase to be fair but I love it even so. The compact features a contour shade, highlighting shade and brush underneath which I haven't actually used yet. The contour shade is subtle yet adds a lovely colour to the face and the highlighter is simply stunning. Definitely worth a buy!
L'Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim
I know the original Super Liner is a favourite of many beauty bloggers but I have to say this one does it for me. The colour is jet black and so pigmented with a precise felt tip nib which makes application a breeze.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
When I first tried this mascara back in February I wasn't best impressed but after using it for several months I bloody love it. The curved plastic applicator (similar to Roller Lash) helps to coat the whole of the lashes with a clump free formula that not only lengthens but volumizes. It's a winner in my eyes!
Soap and Glory Brow Archery
I put off buying this for ages and looking back I have no idea why! The only brow product I will ever need from now on and for under a tenner I really don't see any issues with it. I tend to use the pencil end just because I can make the colour slightly darker but for more HD brows I'll also use the pen end and then brush through with a spoolie.
