My Thoughts: Benefit Porefessional Primer

Porefessional Primer by Benefit

As you may know, I went to the Benefit Face Date in Covent Garden a few weeks ago where I bought this primer, noted as one of the best beauty products at the moment. I must say I do really love it but for the price I don’t know if it’s actually doing much. It definitely makes my makeup stay on for longer which is always good but I can’t say it’s really helping my pores, they’re not big but this primer still doesn’t make an obvious difference. However, it’s really matte which stops your skin from looking oily and applies really nicely into the skin. It’s so soft and silky, and you can use the tiniest amount which will last ages. To be completely honest, I’m disappointed with the results after spending £20 on this (discount of at the event) considering it does nothing to my pores and it’s Benefit. I find that the Collection Primed and Ready Primer does exactly the same thing!

Repurchase? No.

I'm awful, I don't really use primer and always tell myself I should!!
I may try the Collection one if you think that one is better 🙂 Thanks – you've just saved me some money haha 🙂

Ahh, shame you didn't like it. I've heard quite a lot about this recently…mixed reviews. For £20 i'm not sure if it's worth it to be honest :// and i prefer more of a dewy/oily look, so this definatly won't be for me 🙁 thanks for the review though!

I have to say that I'm not really a fan of Benefit's skin products either- I really like their make up (except the cardboard pallette packaging!) and find it lasts for ages & easy to use, but having tried a few different skin products from them I wasn't really impressed; I think you're right about the price being too high for the results! I always try and buy at the airport or here in France (if I can find it!) as sometimes it's a bit cheaper.
