Instead of a december favourites, I’m gonna do a round up of my top 10 products of 2013! There’s a mix of makeup, skincare, haircare and nailcare in here so hopefully it will give you an idea of some new products to try out!
This is my go to detangling spray, it’s around £15 and it does a really great job of taming my hair. It’s supposed to be heat activated but I just spray it in anyway and it calms my hair down and makes it smell so goooooood!
I’m sure this will be on a lot of ‘top products of 2013’ posts but it really deserves to be. For only £4.19 this is definitely the best drugstore concealer and I don’t suppose there’s any point in me raving about this anymore!
As you can tell from my review earlier on in the year, I really love these despite the few downsides they have. They last for ages and apply so well with their creamy formula. I definitely recommend giving these a go if you haven’t already.
It took me a bit of time at first to get the knack of this product but after a while it became my go to nail spray at only £3, bargain.
This is without doubt my favourite lipstick ever. I love the colours (especially 101, 111 and 107), the formula, the price, the finish, the packaging, everything. It’s well worth taking a look at in the shops and normally they feature in the ASOS sale at just £3.50 which is such a bargain for what you’re getting!
This is my everday mascara, I don’t mind that it’s waterproof I just love the effect it has on my lashes. It volumizes them without making them look clumpy and this is a product I will definitely be repurchasing again.
This was my go to colour throughout the whole of summer this year. I just love how bright it is and it’s matte as well which is my favourite finish. It’s only a fiver and you all know how much I recommend Models Own polishes, but this is definitely at the top of the recommendation list!
As always I reach for sudocrem when I’m having a breakout and therefore it has to make it to the top 10 products of this year.
I feel like I’m cheating a bit by saying all the RT brushes but I don’t care! They’re all amazing and so affordable but out of all of them I’d say the buffing brush is my favourite. It’s the one which makes applying foundation bearable so it’s the one that deserves the biggest pat on the back.
Last but certainly not least, our good old friend Bioderma. Sadly I’ve run out of this holy water but I hope to stock up again soon. This micellar water is the best for removing makeup, doesn’t sting and feels really gentle on your skin. Not too expensive either, just a great great product!
So there we go, my top 10 beauty products from last year. Ooh it feels weird saying that. Leave some links below if you’ve done a post like this as well – I can’t wait to try out some new products this year!
