I Am Going To Keep My Resolutions This Year!

Every year I say the famous line, ‘I’m going to keep my resolutions this year’ and every year I know it’s far from the truth. Why is it that we feel the need to come up with all these new year resolutions which are just never going to happen? ‘I’m going to eat healthier and get fitter’ is the classic one which us girls have probably been saying for most of our lives, and how many of us actually stick to it? Very few.

But this year, despite not being the biggest health freak, one of my resolutions is to start living a healthier lifestyle. That doesn’t mean I’m turning into a gym bunny or cutting pizza out of my diet (let’s face it, that will never happen) but slowly I just want to improve my food and exercise habits. 

I’d also like to start saving some money this year, not just for the sake of it but so I can begin to put aside some money for a deposit on a flat for 2016. I’m keen to move out so I need to start preparing myself financially.

My third and final resolution is to improve the photography on my blog. I often find the photography on a blog the turn on or turn off point so I need to up my game and start to learn more about lenses, exposures and all of that malarkey.

I am most definitely going to stick to my resolutions this year for the sole fact there’s only three. Not loads so I should be able to keep an eye on all of them. Who knows, in summer you might even catch me taking photos of my stacks of cash whilst sat in the sukhasana pose eating celery?!

    I have the same resolutions, and a couple more for this year. I definitely think the key is to make them realistic – no point on committing to the gym 5 nights a week when it's just not going to happen. A healthier lifestyle is a much better goal! Good luck with yours 🙂

      exactly and i for one know that there's no chance i'd be able to go to the gym 5 nights a week haha ♡
