Life Made Easier With Friction Free Shaving

Hands up if you’ve ever been guilty of using an old, rusty, blunt razor head or forgotten to buy new ones at the shop. Hmmm, that’s a lot of hands! Don’t worry though, the days of running out of  fresh razor heads are long gone thanks to Friction Free Shaving. THANK GOD!

FEATURED: FRICTION FREE SHAVING GIFT BOX*

I have never been one for subscription boxes, I just don’t see the point in most of them and none of them really float my boat. However, Friction Free Shaving offer a razor subscription service that I now can’t live without! In fact, I don’t know how I’ve bought extortionate razor heads from Boots for so long. Come on, £12 for three heads? Do me a favour!

I sit here and wonder why an affordable yet luxurious razor subscription service has never been done before because it’s something so essential to most girls lives. I mean shaving is probably one of my least favourite pamper tasks but it’s still something I do most days, I mean a mini dress with unshaven legs ain’t the best look! The service is so simple as well. All you need to do is pay a monthly fee and you’ll get sent razors and your choice of shaving scrub, cream or balm straight to your door every month. How easy is that?

If you’re reading this thinking ‘why do I need to get so many razors though?’ then this is why and it’s actually pretty gross… Bacteria is constantly building up in your razor blades so imagine how grim they are after a couple of weeks of use let alone a few months because let’s be honest, some of us don’t change them as often as we should! Your razors will also become blunt which can cause irritation, razor burn and rashes and that’s something we want to keep at bay isn’t it? Realistically, you should be using a new razor head every week to avoid all these problems as well as infections which the bacteria can cause.

So you get the message about how brilliant the idea is so when Friction Free Shaving offered to send me one of their products, I jumped at the chance! I was lucky enough to receive the rose gold gift set which even has my name engraved in the metal razor… I died a bit when I saw it, who knew having your name etched into a razor could be so exciting? It feels weighted as well, high quality and comfortable to hold so I know we’ll get on just great. The razor heads are German-engineered and each have six diamond-coated steel blades and a styling bikini blade, according to their website, so they glide over your skin really easily and work like a dream.

The gift set also includes the most delicious smelling pre shave scrub which contains walnut extract to tackle those horrible ingrown hairs – let’s be honest, we all get them. I never actually exfoliated before shaving until now as I just found it pointless but now I’ve started, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to stop! There’s also a manuka honey, shea butter and coconut oil shave cream (try saying that after a few drinks) which is so soothing and much more effective than the cheap ones I’ve used in the past. To complete the set of lotions and potions is the post shave balm which sinks into the skin so effortlessly and makes such a difference to your legs post shave. They also throw in a blade cover and shower holder which at first I didn’t think much of but it’s nice to know for a change that my razors won’t end up broken on the shower floor!

These products have completely transformed my shaving routine and looking back, I don’t know how soap and a groggy razor blade did the job! No more irritability, expensive razor heads or faffing around so my life is made 100% easier now I have Friction Free Shaving! The gift set and subscription service is something genuinely worth investing in and I don’t know how it’s taken me so long to try them out but one thing is for sure, I won’t be going back to Gilette!

Have you ever tried Friction Free Shaving? Is it something that interests you?
