Seven Things I’m Loving At The Moment

Monthly favourites used to be such a massive thing in blogging right? I don’t know why they fizzled out for me as I love watching them on YouTube but I just don’t think I vary my routine enough each month to warrant a whole post on it. Saying that, I thought I’d write a generic ‘what I’m loving at the moment’ post to give you an insight into what I’m using and wearing!

Rimmel Sun Shimmer Mousse*

Historically I’ve never got on with instant tanning products and usually have to dedicate one day each week to walking around the house in my bra and knickers waiting for my St Moriz to work its magic. Thankfully I was sent a few Rimmel tanning products from Influenster and the mousse has now completely changed my tanning routine. Gone are the days of sleeping in tan now that it literally takes me two minutes to tan my legs before I pop out! I use the medium matte shade which looks really natural yet glowy and nobody even knows I’ve fake tanned!

Leopard print

Who isn’t loving leopard print? I have jumped on this bandwagon big time (as has every other blogger) but it really is a trend I love dearly. New Look is absolutely smashing it with their animal print clothes and accessories and I must admit, I’ve spent more than I was hoping to on basically leopard print everything. I’m talking shoes, camis, skirts, dresses, EVERYTHING. ASOS has also done a fabulous job of providing my wardrobe with even more leopard print than I already had (just in case it wasn’t enough).

Natural Collection blushers

These blushers are only £1.99 each (yes, you heard that right) and they are so impressive! I’ve got a few shades which I use daily and I just bloody love them. Pigmented, buildable and natural, what a bargain for under two quid!

No7 Mirror

I mean there’s not much I can say about a mirror really but I’ve used this everyday since Toby gave it to me at Christmas. It’s rose gold for a start (so an instant favourite in any blogger’s eyes), is double sided (the really magnified side is my BFFL when it comes to plucking eyebrows) and has a light which you can dim. What else can I say?! Also, it’s down to £25 on Boots at the moment which is an absolute bargain!

Tropic Skincare Tamanu Balm*

Tropic is one of those brands you see floating around Instagram and wonder if their products are actually any good.. I can confirm they are! I’ve been using this balm religiously since I received it and despite the curry smell, it’s working an absolute treat. You can use it on literally anything and everything whether that’s eczema, acne, scarring, rosacea, dry skin or burns so it’s well worth giving it a go if you suffer from any of those. I have struggled with eczema since I was little and tried so many lotions and potions but nothing seemed to properly clear it up until I started applying this balm daily and guess what? It’s gone!

Batiste Dry Shampoo

It’s been years since I picked this dry shampoo up but since it was half price at Boots, I thought ‘sod it’ and chucked two in my basket. It’s working better for me than the Tresemme one and adds much more volume which is exactly what I need on those greasy hair days!

Gallinee Body Milk*

Over the years I’ve been sent so many incredible products and this body milk has to be one of my favourites. I raved about it a few months ago on my Instagram and still agree with everything I said back then. It smells amazing, sinks in quickly, soothes and hydrates dry skin and doesn’t leave a horrible residue so it’s a solid 10/10 in my book!

So there you have it, 10 things I’m loving at the moment! I might start creating this kind of post every few months as I’ve really enjoyed putting it together and sharing my faves!

Natural collections are so underrated, they were the first brand i properly got into for makeup but think they’re so good for the price!
